Perhaps you have a specific mountain you wish to conquer such as Ben Avon, Ben Macdui or Lochnagar? Maybe you are a Munroist and want help in getting to one or more of the more isolated and challenging summits on your list. How about an exploration of the Caledonian Forest, a central component to Rewilding in Scotland, with opportunities to spot unique wildlife.
Single mountain days that are popular with our clients are:
The Loch Muick and Lochnagar area
Ben A’an and Beinn a Bhuird from Corgarff or from Deeside
The mountains north of Braemar and the Linn of Dee (Carn a Mhaim, Derry Cairngorm, Beinn Bhreac, Beinn a Mheadhion etc.)
The central Cairngorm Plateau (Ben MacDui, Loch Etchachan, Loch Avon etc.)
We can also arrange lower level walks in the more isolated glens such as Glen Derry, Glen Lui, Glen Avon, Glen Loin, Lairig Ghru and Lairig an Laoigh. Want wildlife, ancient forest or spectacular views? Just let us know what you would like to do, see and experience and we’ll cater to your needs.
We provide hot drinks, water filtration and safety gear. All we ask is that you have basic walking gear such as a waterproof jacket and trousers, walking boots, day sack and hat and gloves, (although we can usually help out when people are missing some of these items). You will also need your packed lunch and enough high energy food to keep you going. Please click here to find out more about what you will need.
Prices vary depending on the size of your group, starting from just £65 per person, per day. We will give you a quote when you enquire. Find out more about our pricing here.
